i held out hope.

Our great desire is that you will keep on loving others as long as life lasts, in order to make certain that what you hope for will come true. Hebrews 6:11

Celebrating a recent anniversary, doing the things we enjoy together.

Lifelong love is harder than it sounds.

There’s a reason why many marriages and relationships don’t last. Love requires vulnerability, and this invites the possibility of being hurt.

You may have experienced hurt from having loved someone, but you have probably also experienced the unconditional love of others.

After all these years…still melts my heart. ❤️

In times of hurt, try and remember those who have loved you for large portions of their lives — perhaps a spouse, a parent, a sibling, or a friend. Lifelong love DOES exist, and it is Christ’s desire to see everyone being loved for their whole lives!

When we experience this kind of love,

we know a small measure of

God’s love for us.

This is what holds the strongest possibility to heal humanity, and because of this, we CAN have confidence that love WILL ultimately win!

The man, the myth, the euchre legend, who can get “2 games in – on a 1/2 hour lunch break.”

Jesus, help me to share your love with others fully and unconditionally!

Help me to share your love with others, as long as life lasts, so that the light of your love can shine into a broken world.

Can you open your heart to others?

hugs n’ blessings to all those who confidently allow the love of Jesus to transform them, so they too can keep on loving….

and 34 extra-special hugs n’ blessings to my “great ball of fire,” who makes our love – the kind of 1% love – which is TOP GUN quality!

happy anniversary, to my cuppycake!

    1. I concur!!!!! And yes, I believe the warranty is expired by now anyways on the ol’ matrimonial contract, so he is for certain a permanent-fixture, giggles. 🤣🤣🤣

  1. God blesses each of us in many ways. My blessing is my wife. 34 years of marriage and she still makes my heart jump every time I see her! She’s not too good at euchre but, I’ll keep her!! Life was never a promise of being easy, but, with your best friend, even the hard things are bearable, and the fun times are the greatest!!! Thank you Dawn Marie for being you and holding out hope!

    1. Awwww! Aren’t you the sweetest!💕 Although, I do NOT agree that I am a terrible euchre player…maybe I just “prefer” to let others win. 😉 We are both blessed beyond measure…I pray we share life well with not just one another but with all those around us, as well. 💕
