The day is filled with splendor
when God brings light from light,
and all renewed creation
Rejoices in his sight.
The Father gives his children
the wonder of the world
in which his power and glory
like banners are unfurled.
With every living creature,
awaking with the day,
we turn to God our Father,
Lift up our hearts and pray:
O Father, Son and Spirit,
Your grace and mercy send,
that we may live to praise you
today and to the end.
Stanbrook Abbey Hymnal
hugs n’ blessings to all those lifting up their hearts today!
It looks like you are in my neck of the woods!
And what a beautiful hymn!

Hello Nancy! Yes, indeed we are currently in your neck-of-the-woods! Cuppycake & I are spending the month of February in AZ. We’ve rented a delightful home in the McCormick Ranch area. AND YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS…. We own a cottage on Edinboro Lake too!! I was tickled when I found that same information on your blog-site. Many of the photos from your posts while in Edinboro are just outside our own door. We must chat! I think we have an awful lot in common….😉

I’m so glad you enjoyed AZ! We love it here and just posted about taking our kids from Ohio to Sedona.
I look forward to our meet up in May. Do you kayak? I love kayaking on the lake. I think I’m the only gal who has a bright purple one.
Talk soon!

Kayaking is actually what led us to Edinboro Lake!!😃 We have 4 – plus a paddle-board. We definitely will need to make a few laps together throughout the season. 💕
