I have never done TWO posts in a day…and truthfully even though two will have been published (today) on my site it is only due in part to an error in my publishing calendar settings. That being said, I debated about postponing the release of this article but ultimately decided it was too important a topic (FOR ME) to delay…even for just one day!
I already mentioned (in today’s earlier post) that I love the Advent Season of our liturgical calendar!!
One of my favorite practices is the participation in St. Andrew’s Christmas Novena. I have partaken in this practice for many, many, many years now and I love the ‘rhythmic timing’ being committed to this Novena adds to my prayer life during Advent. I have tender chapel bells set on my phone that go off each time I am to pray this lovely prayer and my heart swells each time they softly ring out.
I have chosen to reblog a WONDERFUL description of this Christmas Novena written by a splendid blogger, Gretchen Filz, where you will find ALL THE INFORMATION NECESSARY to partake in this beautiful prayer devotion. Gretchen is a convert to Catholicism who I am certain you will enjoy reading more about at her site!
Please let me know if you too adopt this prayer practice this Advent Season and be sure to share any blessings you receive as a result! Big or small a blessing is a blessing, after all!!
hugs n’ blessings and may chapel bells ring out in your heart!
