It’s fall!
And there are so many wonderful things to do to enjoy the splendor of the Season!
Maybe you’ve done some apple picking or bought some apple cider and cider donuts from your favorite orchard.
We visited our local Farmer’s Market who supplied us with some of the area’s best MacIntosh Apples.
Then the fun continued back at home
where we changed apples into
applesauce!

O the sun has kissed the apples,
Sir Charles George Douglas Roberts
Kissed the apples;
And the apples, hanging mellow,
Red and yellow,
All down the orchard seen
Make a glory in the green.
What fun things are you doing to celebrate the change of Seasons?
hugs n’ blessings for saucy-days and the ones we spend them with!
I’m impressed you make your own applesauce!

Why thank you, Ann! 😊 My maternal grandmother taught me many years ago how to preserve several varieties of fruits & vegetables. I still cherish using her canning pot and several of her canning utensils & feel very blessed to have had them left to my care. (As an aside the apron I am wearing that day is one that she made for me when I was first married, which was over 30 years ago. Yee-gads!)
