Saint Benedict came up for me randomly; amazing considering my kidney disease history and it all seemed very appropriate. I will read more about him and his life but don’t really know how choosing a saint is beneficial.

What a special blessing to have received Saint Benedict. However, it has been my experience that there is rarely anything random when a Saint presents themselves to us. 😊 Much like how/when certain people enter our lives for a purpose (unbeknownst to us at the time)…so too with the Saints! 🥰 The year St. Therese of Liseux was my Saint of the Year, I was in great need of becoming “like a child” in both trust and faith. Researching her throughout that year always proved very fruitful, as the way she lived out these tenants throughout her own life were invaluable examples for what I was in need of learning how to do – at that moment in my own life.
My prayer for you is that Saint Benedict may present himself as a role model, a guide, a companion throughout the course of this New Year. Thanks for being open to the process & Big Hugs to you each & every time you “discover” him in surprising ways!
