Really, God?
Umm…
Why so many lessons for me to practice this?
Therefore, steady all weary hands and trembling knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed. Hebrews 12:12-13
A burden is apt to make the Christian’s hands weary, and his knees to trembling, to dispirit him and discourage him; but against this he must strive, that he may better run his spiritual race and course.
Faith and patience enable believers to follow peace and holiness, as a man follows his calling constantly, diligently, and with pleasure.
-Bible Commentary (paraphrased)
…that everyone be built up and established upon the most holy faith, and in the pure ways of the Gospel.

hugs n’ blessings for all the lessons, yet to be learned.
It is the “fool” who believes he’s the biggest fish in the sea!
The tests and challenges we face (though sometimes painful) are INTENTIONAL and designed to STRENGTHEN not WEAKEN our character. The difference between how we assess these challenges is often based on our faith in this belief.

I couldn’t agree more!!! Thanks for reinforcing what a great “gift” there is to receive in every struggle we over-come!

The lessons we continue to learn all the days of our lives are often reinforced by what others share and have lived and experienced. Thank you for blog and the comment above is so REAL. Intentionality of what often comes our way at the time seems so hard but it is these challenges that strengthen our faith and God is indeed more real (my experience) when I’ve felt the weakest. Blessings and Grace to you and yours.

I agree! That which does not break us truly makes us strong!! Especially when we remember He is right there beside us along the way…. Hugs & Blessings for staying faithful to His path, despite the occasional rough terrain.
