water-lily, mine

Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.

1 Timothy 4:14-15

Jesus gave you special gifts and talents. It is as though he has a garden full of the most beautiful flowers, and if you do not rise and bloom, there is no-one else who can take your place.

And I have met many of those flowers!

Especially, in this cyber-space! Each one using the talents they have been given (in many ways) to glorify God. Sometimes with intention, while others simply sharing their time and talents with those of us who stroll through their site.

*A few of whom I have highlighted and linked at the end of this post – BE SURE to visit!

This is exactly what is happening in the spiritual realm.

If God had two of you, one would be redundant!

Enjoy your life, your uniqueness and your opportunities to bloom where you are planted, or be transplanted into a new pot to be enjoyed elsewhere!

Plus, don’t hide these talents under a bushel basket!

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

Matthew 5:16

God has produced good things in you.

So, Bloom!

Lord, thank you for making me, as St. Therese’ of Liseux often said, your little flower. I love you and am so very glad to be your cherished blossom.

Where are you planted right now?

    1. Thank you kindly, Andy! Indeed, if those we love could recognize the individual beauty they bring to this world – our hearts would rejoice along with them in their discovery of this truth! Hugs to you for stopping by and your thoughtful words.
