something to consider…

The number of legal abortions taking place in Poland decreased by 90% in 2021, following a court ruling that banned abortion in the case of a fetal medical diagnosis such as Down syndrome.

According to a report by the Polish newspaper Rzeczpospolita, data from the Ministry of Health shows that the number of legal abortions in the country decreased from 1,076 in 2020 to 107 in 2021 following changes to the country’s abortion law.

The court ruling left in place exceptions in cases of rape and incest and when the life and health of the mother are at risk.

Saint Pope John Paul II, descendant of Poland, pray for us.

The greatest destroyer of love and peace is abortion, which is war against the child. The mother doesn’t learn to love, but kills to solve her own problems. Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love, but to use any violence to get what they want.

Saint Mother Teresa

And if we can accept that a mother can kill her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another?

Saint Mother Teresa

Abortion kills twice. It kills the body of the baby and it kills the conscience of the mother. Abortion is profoundly anti-women. Three quarters of its victims are women: Half the babies and all the mothers.

Saint Mother Teresa

  1. WHAT TRUTH.! Thank you. I learnt this lesson so vividly on my life journey when I worked for a Catholic doctor connected to a Mater Hospital with passionate Sisters of Mercy. I saw miracles when prayer replaced the passion to ‘get rid of the problem’. My Memoir Shafts of Gold tells this part of my life journey to learn God’s Fullness. Blessings!

    1. Not until we are lifted up in Heaven will we fully realize the power our prayers have made. Hugs to you for all the faithful ones YOU have lifted up, especially for the sanctity of life. 😘😘
