One of the many graces I have received during this year’s Lenten Desire to
spend more time with God
has been all the extra-time provided to do more life-giving, beneficial things while under God’s gaze!
By sacrificing my time normally spent on Instagram I am (instead) doing things which
feed the Spirit He planted within me!
Like reading, writing, watching a good movie or crocheting!
As a result I truly do not know if I will re-engage in Social Media again!
I do know, at the very least, it shall (indeed) change significantly – as I have experienced an Interior Freedom not felt by me for far too long.
I pray that you too are experiencing a similar feeling, as you’ve detached from your own (sometimes negative) distractions during this period of lent.
And just in case you’re looking for something new to occupy your time I am sharing a few of my own substitutions with you!
Remember!
I enthusiastically welcome your suggestions too!!
It’s what you read when you don’t have to that determines what you will be when you can’t help it.

Aww, why thank you Faye! 😊 No, I have not tried beading…yet. My Spirit is always seeking to release it’s creative juices -perhaps one day it will lead me to this new craft! You should do a post on your beaded cat! I am certain many of us would enjoy the tail (get it?) you could spin to accompany it. 😘

Amen, Dawn!! Yes, watching it again did prove powerful! I’m so happy your season has been blessed! I’m in a season of quiet. Of exploring him and heeding his messages. I pruned some things that made life difficult. I know I did what HE needed me to do. And that gives me peace. I don’t know where I’d be without faith! Sending love and hugs!! 💛💕🙏🏻❤️🤗

Ahhh, pruning. How appropriate for Spring. And I welcome your reminder that it is important to do so in our own lives periodically. Keep those shears sharpened!!😉
