Leaf Me Alone!
A Leaf Poem, by Oma
Hello whispy, crunchy, conical friend I found today!
I see your autumn leftover beauty,
I am mesmerized by your dancing whimsy,
and wait with baited breath for you to toss in the breeze, yet again.
For then I will chase after you,
and keep time with your step!
Reaching,
Yes, reaching to touch you,
my frolicking friend.
I see you!
And am reaching for you, yet again.
So, as we stand toe to toe,
oops, and there you go…
until another dance we’ll share my crispy, crunchy 🍂 fallen friend!

hugs n’ blessings for all the joy tossing and turning in your life!
“Be strong and of good courage; do not fear or be in dread of them: for it is the Lord your God who goes with you; he will not leave you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6
