it’s the monday giggles…

As I mentioned in my last post

THANK YOU

for being so patient while I have been away!

“Where have I been,” you might ask?

Right here.

“What have you been doing?”

Listening.

And praying…

for me & for you,

For the past month I went away to an interior-space for self-reflection, examination, and quality time listening.  To God.  To others. And to my heart.  I’ve done so in the past, but this time I truly guarded the “silence” I learned from my gal-pal St. Faustina.

In the Year 1937, Saint Faustina wrote a particular “examen” to aide her with being united with the merciful Christ. She wrote this entry on January 1st. With it she vowed the practice of inner silence, along with the strict observance of external silence; especially in times of being wronged or persecuted by others. As a result of this she was guided to create a chart of “internal control of the soul.” Each month she was given an “examen” to meditate upon, along with an exclamatory prayer. Faustina took these “examens,” or practices, so seriously that she recorded monthly the victories & falls she experienced personally; within her attempts to adhere to each practice.

January’s examen is:  “Jesus, remained Silent.” 

And so I did.

I heard so much in the quiet and I am grateful for the clarity it provided.

But, I’m happy to be back now!

And I look forward to sharing some of what I discovered during the time spent listening. And the immense trust I have in all He has revealed (to me.)

Of great importance for me is to clarify what this bloggity-blog-say-I-space contains! (But first, I do hope you like the “NEW LOOK!” Some of the old & familiar remains but a few fun improvements have been made too.)  Although I have written before about my pure-intentions with this space; my return, from this time spent away, offers a wonderful opportunity to re-visit what you will find should you choose to stroll through my site periodically!

It’s really quite basic you’ll see!
