A few years ago I began noticing Cuppycake exhibiting suspicious signs of a mid-life crisis.
There were no Harley’s suddenly showing up in our garage.
Or shiny fast sports cars with very exaggerated curves in their design.
No clubbing or skydiving.
No hair dye, tight leather jeans, or shiny-gold jewelry.
But there was suddenly the mysterious appearance of

Today begins St. Andrew’s Christmas Novena and if you have not already adopted this prayer into your Advent Season in the past; I do so verily hope you will consider adding it into this year!
St. Andrew Christmas Novena
Hail and blessed be the hour and moment in which the Son of God was born Of the most pure Virgin Mary, at midnight, in Bethlehem, in the piercing cold. In that hour vouchsafe, I beseech Thee, O my God, to hear my prayer and grant my desires through the merits of Our Savior Jesus Christ, and of His blessed Mother. Amen.

How wonderful are God’s gifts!
There is life everlasting, joy in righteousness, truth in freedom, faith, confidence, and self-control in holiness. And these gifts that we can comprehend; what of all the others that are being prepared for those who look to him. Only the Creator, the Father of the ages, the all-holy, knows their grandeur and their loveliness.
