One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

When you read this verse, what person comes to mind?
You may be thinking of someone who has been very unreliable or perhaps you are smiling at the thought of that one friend who feels even closer to you than your own family. Relationships are a blessing, and it’s worth taking the time to consider what friends are encouraging you and what friends are not.
We can still be hospitable and charitable toward those friends and acquaintances who have not been loyal, we just need to be cautious when it come to having expectations of them. As for those friends who have proven their loyalty and unconditional love for you, keep them close and find ways to be a blessing to them.
Celebrating a special milestone with a special lady…and also…another friend’s birthday!
Faithful God, thank you that you have led the way and shown me what unconditional love really looks like. May I be a friend that is able to show that kind of loyalty to those who are really close to me. Bless my friends who show me this same kind of loyalty. Thank you so much for bringing them into my life.

Oh, dear Faye! I feel the very same. Our God is big indeed to have brought us both together, despite being so far away! I look forward to when He separates the divide and we worship Him together in His kingdom one day.

Great Blog Dawn…Totally agree! How I remembered to spell friend when I was little(could not remember the i before the e) is so true to the spelling that a friend is always there in the “end”. Love you, my Friend!
