Silent Soul

“Here I am Lord!”

“I come (only) to do Your will.”

I quietly stepped away from blogging a year+ ago.

I wont’ go into the “for-why” or “what-for,” only humbly share – I know it to have been His will. And how do I know that? The incredible Peace received having trusted in His Providence is all the assurance I need.

During the hiatus from my bloggity-blog site & sorely missed cyber-space friends my heavenly Father has been with me – teaching me, guiding me, preparing me, strengthening me and loving me. Most times in very unexpected ways. I would best describe it as a “private silent retreat” He & I have been on together. I have been well protected and cared for, by Him. But recently He has begun to unfetter me from this protective cocoon; while nudging & encouraging me to once again, “share with others.”

At least, any who should wish to hear.

(Giggles.)

And so it shall be renewed, again.

“Here I am Lord!”

“I come (only) to do Your will.”

A silent soul is strong; no adversities will harm it if it perseveres in silence. The silent soul is capable of attaining the closest union with God. It lives almost always under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. God works in a silent soul without hinderance. St. Faustina’s Diary (477)

O Mary, my Mother and my Lady, I offer you my soul, my body, my life and my death, and all that will follow it. (79) I saw the Blessed Virgin, unspeakably beautiful. She came down from the altar to my kneeler, held me close to herself and said to me, I am Mother to you all, thanks to the unfathomable mercy of God. Most pleasing to Me is that soul which faithfully carries out the will of God. She gave me to understand that I had faithfully fulfilled the will of God and had thus found favor in His eyes. Be courageous. Do not fear apparent obstacles, but fix your gaze upon the Passion of My Son, and in this way you will be victorious. St. Faustina’s Diary (449)

Will you look for Him in the Silence?
