“God wants the humble souls, who love Him and, therefore, pray to Him, to govern the world through the goodness and power of God.
St. Maximilian Kolbe
He wants them to save and sanctify souls and to bring about the kingdom of divine love in them.” KW 1302
Heavenly Father I come before you with a heart full of gratitude for the precious gift of family and I place them all in Your hands. Fill them with Your grace and mercy. Bless them with your holy presence. May they walk in obedience to your Word. Keep them safe. Surround them with your chosen people. Remove everything that is causing stress and worry and I pray for fresh anointing, healing, and deliverance on their life. I ask that You surround our home with Your divine protection, love and peace.
Thank you for blessing me with loved ones who share in life’s joys and burdens. May your presence be felt in every conversation, every moment, and every decision that we make together. Guide us in strengthening our bonds, Lord. Help us to be patient, kind and understanding, especially during times of challenge. Grant us the wisdom to nurture each other with grace and compassion. Fill our hearts with forgiveness, and let love reign in our home. We pray for your abundant blessings over our family, for health, happiness and peace. Help us to grow closer to You and to each other in everything we do. May our home be a place where Your love is reflected, and your light shines brightly in our lives.
All glory and honor is Yours! Amen.

The secret of joy is Christ in me – not me in a different set of circumstances.

I believe that appreciation is a holy thing – that when we look for what’s best with a person we happen to be with at the moment, we’re doing what God does all the time. So in loving and appreciating our neighbor, we’re participating in something sacred.
Mr. Fred Rogers
Lord, help me to live this day, quietly, easily. To lean upon Thy great strength, trustfully, restfully. To wait for the unfolding of Thy will, patiently, serenely. To meet others, peacefully, joyously. To face tomorrow, confidently, courageously.
St. Francis
hugs n’ blessings for trusting in the goodness and power of God.

Dear Dawn: i love your writings. They always make me stop and ponder the wonders of God and our blessings in this world. I especially love these pictures!!! Your grandchildren are growing up so fast – and they are adorable! It’s so nice to see your family together….these are such precious times! God has blessed you, and us, with beautiful families, and having even a little time to share together is such special blessing!I trust you and Dan are well and enjoying the summer now that you are home from your retreat. I can’t wait to hear about that soon. While I haven’t had an opportunity like that this summer, I did serve as an Auxilliary on a Women’s Cursillo in June – and met some amazing faith-filled women who I’ve been blessed to share the past 7 weeks with. They are all striving to live their lives in a deeper relationship with Jesus, and I’ve been blessed to share this time with them.May God continue to bless you on your spiritual journey, Dawn. Hope to talk with you soon.Nance
