Like the deer that yearns for running streams, so my soul is yearning for you, my God: my soul is thirsting for God, the living God.

I am preparing for my second year of formation. I return to School very soon. My reading has been completed, my notes have been taken, and my back-pack is full!
But nothing is more important to take with me than Him.
Because He is my shield!
After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, “Fear not, Abram, I am your shield; your reward shall be very great.”

a few simple things:
A hot cup of coffee to sip on.
A weathered Bible to read from.
A front porch to sit on.
A good man to grow old with.
A few kids to carry on.
A blest life to be grateful for.
