No matter car, plane, or train it’s all about the journey….

or is it the destination in the end?

This quote was first painted above our fireplace mantle in our home in 1997, then followed us to our current home in 2014 where it remains today.

My children often tease that it shall be woven into my eulogy one day – mostly because despite having seen this quote the majority of their lives they still continue to mis-quote it.

Which they deliberately know drives me crazy, giggles.

spiritual fitness

Two years ago I tried on a favorite little black dress.

I loved this dress for its simplicity and flexibility. It’s not in the least bit fussy or fancy and whether a high heel, kitten heel, sandal or sporty sneaker this dress can carry off the perfect look – no matter the occasion! This dress has hung in my closet for more years than the store it was purchased at lasted, as it has gone out of business long ago.

My LBD has traveled with me through 3 house moves & spanned the course of numerous fashion trends! Most importantly, if I am ever in doubt of “what to wear” it’s always been my constant “safe choice.”

Choose a shoe, match a hand-bag and off I go!

But then one day, as I pulled this magical garment from the closet to wear for an impromptu dinner with friends, the unthinkable happened.

the Mission

REAL TALK…

I like talking to God.

I could not admit this to most people because what would they think? So instead I will just put it out here on social-media where no one will ever know. (Giggles.)

During the COVID-pandemic it took me a short-while to tune out the perpetual media-saturation – but once I broke free – the reassuring whisper of His voice could be found, once again.
