54 days ago I wrote a post inviting you on a 63 day journey with me!

A wonderful 7 week journey of prayer!

And I can hardly believe we are only 9 days away from its completion!!!!

So far, (if you have been one of my prayer companions,) we have prayed The Surrender Novena 5 times together, completing the 6th one today.

Which means tomorrow begins our 7th and final Surrender Novena together, ending on Election Day, November 3rd.

white-flag strategy

Several of my more recent posts have been a “purging,” as such.

A regular tossing-aside of some creepy-crud matters!

Could you tell?

Hopefully, it has been quite obvious that…

I do not like discord!

Nope. Nada. Zilch.

And there certainly has been enough of THAT floating around since 2016!

(With no signs of stopping, I might add.)

So, what’s an optimist to do?

(Besides cheering them on – toward a happier path, that is!)

Giggles.

do you hear my prayers, lord?

it’s a 3hugs&blessings thursday…

Prayer isn’t there to make us feel better when we’re anxious.

And it’s not there as an obligation.

It is a communion of love, between a lover and the beloved.

St. Faustina is a reliable witness on this point: she spoke to Our Lord about this many times, and He always expressed His infinite love for humanity.

“While I was saying the chaplet [of Divine Mercy], I heard a voice which said, Oh, what great graces I will grant to souls who say this chaplet; the very depths of My tender mercy are stirred for the sake of those who say the chaplet.”  (No. 848)
