will strengthen you?

Yes indeed, because faith makes you brave!

And nothing gets God’s Word into your soul like reading the Bible. If you study it, it will hone your heart to be sharp and discerning. You will not be in question when you come to a decision, because you will have already understood the nature of God.

Without doubt, it is much easier to study God’s Word and incorporate it into your life if you meditate upon it all day long. However, that doesn’t mean you keep a Bible open and neglect your work!

It simply means you tuck God’s Word

into your heart.

You talk about God’s Word when you can, so you get a depth of understanding and can pick out potential misguided beliefs before they are woven into your thought patterns and actions. Then, you know you please God, and you become brave!

Lord, help me to plant your Word deeply in my heart so it dwells richly within me. Help me live out of the wellspring of truth, and of the knowledge that you are with me.
