Wasn’t it just yesterday you were a baby in my arms? I looked at your precious face and wondered where life would take you. Today, I look at the person you’ve become…strong, kind, thoughtful, caring and optimistic (and yes, sometimes a bit dramatic)…and I realize the dreams I held in my heart for you are alive in your beautiful spirit. Why?
Because I knew I’d be far-away finishing up the final 30 days of my first year of classes with no time or freedom for blogging during that time. But very soon – no more classroom assignments, reading or writing until next fall!
Well, sort-of.
When you’re 20 you care what everybody thinks, when you’re 40 you stop caring what everyone thinks, when you’re 60 you realize no one was ever thinking about you in the first place!
