“We’re all a little weird,

and life’s a little weird,

and when we find someone

whose weirdness is compatible

with ours, we join up with them

and fall in mutual weirdness,

and call it love….”

-Dr. Seuss

…and the weirdness simply multiples from there. Continue reading “whose the weirdo?”

What is a Minion’s favorite Halloween treat? A Banana!

giggles…

Pumpkin

We bought a fat orange pumpkin
The plumpest sort they sell.
We neatly scooped the inside out
And only left the shell.
We carved a funny funny-face
Of silly shape and size,
A pointy nose, a jagged mouth
And two enormous eyes.
We set it in a window
And we put a candle in,
Then lit it up for all to see
Our jack-o’lantern grin.

Just like that!

He has created us anew in Christ Jesus,

so we can do the good things

He planned for us long ago.”

Sometimes I get tired of being the better person.

One day I’d like to be the B.A.

(bad apple)

they say I am!

“The effects of kindness are not always seen immediately.  Sometimes it takes years until your kindness will pay off, and is returned to you.  And sometimes you never see the fruits of your labors, but they are there, deep inside of the soul of the one you touched.”

Matt Kelly

May you always remember the

Rules for Doing Good:

Do all the good you can,

In all the ways you can,

To all the people you can,

In every place you can,

At all the times you can,

As long as ever you can!

“Show yourself in all respects a model of good deeds, and in your teaching show integrity, gravity,  and sound speech that cannot be censured, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say of us.”  Titus 2:7-8

hugs n’ blessings to all the fruit farmers (out there)…may your harvest be bountiful, despite any inclement weather you may have along the way!
