“You don’t have enough faith,” Jesus told them. “I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it would move. Nothing would be impossible.

Lord, thank You for being You. Praise be, Your plans aren’t hindered by my humanness. When my faith shakes because of my current circumstances, I know that it won’t affect Your will. You are powerful and limitless. While You long for me to be a part of Your plans, I don’t define them. But….I do want in!

Give me the courage!

Let me access the faith that moves mountains, God!

humble gift

Do you like surprises?

I know some people who especially love the buildup and anticipation surrounding surprise gifts.

God has a gift for us today, but we must be willing to let him surprise us.

This is the gift of humility.

Humility is when we come to God confessing we don’t know the answer; we don’t have it all figured out.

Where there is pride, there is no room for surprise.

We feel the pressure to have all the answers, but God is asking us to let go of that.

When we unwrap humility, we are positioned to receive this wisdom, knowledge, and understanding that Proverbs is talking about.
