And away we go!
Because, today is an exciting day!
(Especially-a-dee, on this the 1st day of April, for all you pranksters out there!)
For me…I’ve dreamt of a dreamy-dream where I have the opportunity to start my own school.
A fun school!
And I am THE principal!
Principal, of fun school, is me!

life is messy
like fingerpainting
all the way up to the elbows
the pretty
the plain
one finger
many
my own
my own fingerprint
given by god
traced within the soul of me
and left behind on
the tippity-tip of every digit
and so we trace
in paint
colorful vibrant color
that mixed up and scrumbly tossed
gets muddy
cracked
dried
grateful for soap and water
for His hands washing away the mess
all the way up to the elbows
