Mister Rogers’s neighborhood was one of my favorite television shows to have our children watch. Along with JJ Heller who was one of my all time favorite musical artists to play, as they drifted off to sleep.

In a small way I have patterned my other blog, Oma’s Reading Room, after Mister Rogers’ endearing television program. Also, my admiration for JJ continues even until today.

It’s a Women’s Thing!

Hello, friends!

Recently, I was asked to deliver a presentation for the Women in our Parish regarding adult female friendship and the importance of female friendship in a woman’s life.

But before I go any further in this post I must explain a few things about myself.

In no particular order: I’m a wife, a mother, an Oma, and a lover of God. I’m a blogger, a crocheter, and I am an encourager – a real people cheerleader. (GO PEOPLE!)

And I’m also a reader, who especially enjoys reading to the littles out-loud!
