Watching over.

Not many days remain now…

until you change your name.

And tho’ one might think sadness dwells,

it is pure joy which remains.

To see your peace

and constant glow,

there is no more to ask.

Than to know you’re loved

and cherished so,

by the one whom you will be attached.

One thing I ask to be remembered

one wish I humbly tell.

Watch over this name you’ll soon be given,

remember to treat it well.

Provide it only with honor

and tender loving care.

For God has gifted it to you…

and guided you safely there.

His name

will now be your name

and with God together you will be.

3 strands of cord together…

forever strong,

you shall see.

And I am so very grateful,

that He gave you but for awhile to me.

A true Motherly Blessing,

(for so many years)

of watching over thee.

these hugs n’ blessings are for all the

ballerina tip-toes and fairy houses on the trails,

blanket forts, milkshakes and movies on rainy days,

barn boots, lip-sync, and feather-bed fluffs,

early morning birthday cakes,

bedtime stories with fairytale glitter,

and (of course)

Bun-Bun!

“Whenever a woman is in labor she has pain, because her hour has come; but when she gives birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish because of the joy that a child has been born into the world.”

Does anyone know how my apron got on the floor?

“Apron?  What apron?”

SO….I was thinking…maybe today we could bake some cookies?????

Helen has patiently waited for me to publish this (particular) post on my blog.

Why?

Because, like myself, she is super-da-duper excited to share a few of the awesome cookies we’ve seen being baked for WEDDING DAY!

Both the bride & groom’s families have a time-honored tradition of baking cookies for friends, family and loved ones to be served on their wedding day.  When people attend a wedding in Northwestern, Pa they don’t ask “How was the wedding?” but rather,

“How was the cookie table?”

And our bride & groom have been blessed to have so many loved ones participating in this long- standing tradition.

Without further ado,

here are a few cookies for you…

to view!

Helen and I promise, after the wedding, to share more of the details

along with a recipe or two!

Two special ‘gigglers’ busy preparing Hotel Hospitality Boxes!

We are meant to show loving-kindness not only to people we know, but to strangers as well.

We are to be there for the cares and needs of others and always put out a helping hand.

Is hospitality fading?

I think not!

Just like many people welcomed Jesus in their homes with open arms, we should do the same! When we serve others we are serving Christ.

Hospitality is when someone feels at Home in your presence.

Hospitality isn’t about your house, it’s about your heart!

And we are so very grateful to be sharing our hearts with many throughout the duration of this Special Occassion!

We cannot wait until you discover what we have in store for you!!

Let brotherly love continue, Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

-Hebrews 13:1-2

Uh, oh.

“Helen, what’s the matter????”

(Giggle. Giggle.)
