“You inspire me!!”

…and since I’ve been so grateful for all of those who take the time to stop in, stroll around my site, and hopefully leave with a smile (or two or more…) I want to give some well-deserved attention to 3 bloggers who do the same for me! (thank you, thank you, thank you!!)

I always leave their site with a refreshed spirit and a mile-wide smile on my face and in my heart!

I hope you feel just as blessed as I after scroll-strolling through their site and want to follow them along, (as I do!)

I love everything Vincent Egoro at Live Your Greatest Life has written!  A very few of my recent favorites are:  Don’t Forget to Forget! And God Has Chosen You! And Enough of Just Hoping!  But truthfully-truly there is not a thing he has written which has not left me inspired by it’s completion.  I almost wish there was never a period to be found in his writings.  He offers me a run-on-sentence for living…(in accordance to the holy word of God.)  I teased him once with a comment I left for him following another well-written post….that it was written from God’s lips to Vincent’s pen…as it was exactly what the Holy Spirit desired for me to hear.

Doodlemum is no ho-hum of a blog to follow!   A rendering of sketches she uses to display her life in lovely scribbly-doo’s which are not so shy of gallery quality!  So often I am fondly reminded of similar displays in our own home of “life-lived-out abundantly” activities!!  A few of my favs:  Looking Back!  To Bedtime and Beyond!  Wear something casual..

And lastly…but not in the least place (ever,)  my dear blogging friend Faye who has TWO sites she wonderfully manages  Sacred Musings and Passionate Creative Christian.  Faye and her sage wisdom always inspires me and often helps bring a calming salve to my sometimes weary-soul, exactly when it seems to be in need of some brightening up!  I know you will be just as inspired with all that she does ‘down under’ to spread His love!

Please and thank-you for scroll-strolling to at least one of these sites!

And I hope you will continue to stop back as I am certain to recommend more!

3hugs n’ blessings to all the inspiration we receive, which encourages our love to grow!

“The lovely flowers embarrass me,
They make me regret I am not a bee –”
~Emily Dickinson, 1864

“For flowers that bloom about our feet;

For tender grass, so fresh, so sweet;

For song of bird, and hum of bee;

For all things fair we hear or see,

Father in heaven, we thank Thee!”

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Hush now, as our gardens prepare to go to sleep…

sleep well dear blooms, until next year we doeth meet.

hugs n’ blessings to all who’ve cultivated God’s beauty this summer & to those who’ve captured their images to carry with us throughout the dormant months ahead.

“Bloom where you are planted!”

The Bishop of Geneva, Saint Francis de Sales (1567-1622) is credited with the quote, “bloom where you are planted.” Later Mary Engelbreit made the phrase popular.

Our favorite Panther!

This Weekend begins the start of one of Cuppycake & my favorite times of year.

The start of College Football Season!

Go Army! Beat Navy!

And the season returns with one of the most loaded opening weekends in a long time!

Which has led to a lot of discussion regarding which games we shall watch and those we may need to DVR.  However, a few don’t even need to be discussed because of the deep-rooted  fanaticism
/fəˈnætɪˌsɪzəm/
noun
wildly excessive or irrational devotion, dedication, or enthusiasm

& personal affection!

GO ARMY!

And this year we’ve added one more favorite team to our list, due in part to our favorite Pitt Panther!

Hail, Pitt!

It may be hard to tell but..The Panther is on the left.

So this Weekend we will not only be glued to all the major Sports Channels, but we will be setting aside a little time to give thanks that our favorite Pitt Panther (and stellar son-in-law) has helped us to add one more team to our “favorites to watch” list!  I’m sure we will also take some important time to raise our tailgating-beers (wrapped in cozies)  in thanksgiving to have Jake in our lives and for ALL the MANY blessings & sincere joy he has brought to our family already!

Can you tell we’re just a little fanatic over him!

Jake is the one on the right.  Hard to tell, right????

The name Jacob is defined in many ways.  The biblical definition explains: In the Old Testament, Jacob (later called Israel) is the son of Isaac and Rebecca and the father of the twelve founders of the twelve tribes of Israel. He was born holding his twin brother Esau’s heel, and his name is explained as meaning “holder of the heel” or “supplanter”. Other theories claim that it is in fact derived from a hypothetical name like יַעֲקֹבְאֵל (Ya’aqov’el) meaning “may God protect”.

And several other on-line dictionaries define those with the name of Jacob as:
very kind hearted
a fighter and a lover
bold
never scared of anybody
and loves loves loves sports!

If we were to add to these definitions we would simply say:

the one most suited to love & care for our daughter,

a heart large enough to love not only her but her entire family unconditionally,

an infectious laugh,

and the biggest Pittsburgh Panther fan we know!

hugs n’ blessings to our favorite Pitt Panther fanatic and to all the fans celebrating the start of another College Football Season!
