it’s monday…but no giggles today (well, maybe just a few.)

Hugs & blessings has been quiet as of late.
But, I do hope to be more present very soon.
Recovering from an auto-accident I’ve spent this Advent Season
healing,
grieving,
and
appreciating all the grace I’ve received during this period of convalescing.
“You know what time it is, how it is now the moment for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we became believers, the night is far gone, the day is near.” Romans 13: 11-12
During Advent we hear the secret of God’s love within us. We have long felt the stirrings of the Life within – the kicks and leaps of God in us yearning to be born. And God will come – poor and hungry, a child wrapped in swaddling cloths.
Will we make room for Him?
Each of us is an Innkeeper who decides if there is room for Jesus.
See Luke 2:7
There is undoubtedly a Christmas tree in our home, our lights are strung and glowing, our pantries are full, and we are ready to entertain family and friends – but have we made room to feed and welcome the Stranger who comes unannounced?
These STRANGE-ones came unannounced.
But I am so very glad they did!
Giggles.
Bearing great joy they arrived one by one, to set up my home with Christmas glee when I was unable. God filled them (and those whose were not captured in these photos) with good things, who reigned down compassion upon me this Advent Season.
It is not easy to relinquish control.
But I am so grateful to have let go and let Love in.
I hope to be back more regularly again very soon!
But until then I continue to send you my hugs n’ my blessings….may you too welcome the Stranger in this Christmas Season – and be grateful each time that you do!
good job Oma letting everyone help you out! We all want you back on your feet!

Sometimes it is indeed when we are unable to ‘do’ that the Grace of God is most manifest. In our lack He can minister in abundance and miraculous ways. A Happy Holy Christmas and a promising and faith-filled 2020. Love Faye.
