Lord, there are so many things in this life that can cause exceeding joy!
Health, stability, close friends, reconciliation, new believers, love. All of these things are wonderful in Your precious name.
Only You can provide joy that is long-lasting and meaningful. If I am only confident in things on the surface, I’ll never truly access what You provide – joy in my salvation.
I’m so thankful for Your blessings!
But I shall strive hard not to allow them to come between me and the One who blesses.
Joy isn’t about where we are at.
This joy is about where we are going.
