baby bump

So in love already…

Our daughter and son-in-law are expecting their first child.

And our entire family is eagerly awaiting the warm welcome we will bestow upon this ‘little-one,’ as he or she becomes the newest added member to our (oft’ times) crazy family-unit this Spring!

There are so many things I can already imagine doing with and for our expectant grandchild! And don’t even get me started on the special feelings & emotions that take place when your own child is expecting one of their own. (Tissue Box alert!) Christmas Day has come and gone but don’t be tempted to take your Christmas decorations down too quickly because tradition stipulates it should stay up for a little while longer!

However, that won’t stop some people who have most likely already stripped their homes of all things red & green and packed them tightly away for next Season.

Have you ever noticed the people who RUSH to take down their decorations are usually also the ones who have all their Christmas shopping completed by Halloween? Giggles.

However, Christian tradition, dating back to the 4th century, marks the Eve of the Epiphany (or 12 nights after Christmas) as the time to take down your tree and pack away your decorations again.
