cleaning up…

Usually, around the end of every year or into the beginning of the next, people begin cleaning out their stuff. There is a natural urge, it would seem, to end or begin a year as uncluttered as possible.

Garages, clothing, the back of dark closets, photo albums, music & movie collections, and the proverbial sock drawers – all are combed through in an effort to begin anew, refreshed from the clutter which can sometimes drag one down.

In addition to their physical space there are those who will take time to evaluate their mental & spiritual condition, as well.

Heavens, simply do a quick google search and you will find a plethora of information regarding diy decluttering tips, along with “taking stock of the lessons learned” in life.

I washed my car today.

Anytime I work on my car, interiorly or exteriorly, I always think of my dad.

He was an auto-body mechanic.

He was most respected for & specialized in exterior repair.

a scary-mess.

Lent started out sloppy for me.

I should have known lent was going to be a scary-mess this year when these guys were spotted on day One!

My first Shark sighting! A friend and I spotted over 15 of them along the beaches of West Palm.
Notice all the fins….

Timid and skittish, the blacktip reef shark is difficult to approach and seldom poses a danger to humans unless roused by food. However, people wading through shallow water are at risk of having their legs mistakenly bitten.
Umm, that’s where I spotted them…wading through the shallow water!!!
